New Featured Artist on Moods of the Moon Internet Radio Station: Michele Ippolito

I found Michele through Facebook, where I have my page for Moods of the Moon Internet Radio Station. I have several of the artists that I feature on my friends list on my profile and somewhere in all the posts, it led me to Michele Ippolito’s profile. I started listening to her music and fell in love instantly, as her music is absolutely perfect for the station. I’m actually listening to her CD right now because it is just so beautiful, peaceful, and calming. I love the way her music blends the tones together to make the ethereal sounds. I hope you will enjoy Michele Ippolito’s music as much as I do. There are several selections from her 2 CD’s up on Moods of the Moon.

Here is a little bit about Michele Ippolito:

MOTM Playlist growing!

Well, I made it to 12 1/2 hours on the playlist tonight! I have been working very hard to get everything back up to its original glory! Please bear with me as I continue updating the playlist. I’ve got some really great music that I can’t wait to share with everyone!

In fact, my iTunes library is playing with songs that I’ve gone over for the station and others that I have recently imported in, and there is one by Hennie Bekker, Spectrum – An Anthology Of Relaxing Instrumental Music, that is just absolutely amazing! I am so loving it. So peaceful, relaxing, and down right beautiful. Makes me almost not want to get up from the computer! LOL

But, I think I have earned a well deserved rest!

The biggest stumbling block I have run into in rebuilding the playlist is the ID3 tags – there are a ton that either aren’t there or they are not transferring in the upload (Studio365 Loader by Live365), so I am having to manually enter the information and then search for it to get the cover art entered as well, so it’s quite a time consuming process! Otherwise, if I didn’t have to do that, I might be done or at least almost done, as it is, I’m not quite half way done yet! Well, there is always tomorrow, and y’all have enough music to chew on for the rest of the night and tomorrow morning! LOL

Enjoy!

MOTM Broadcast is back up!

Moods of the Moon is broadcasting again, by the way! So far, the playlist has grown to approximately a little over 7 hours. I will be working on it to grow it back to it’s once magnificent size! Good news is, the sound quality should be better now! =)

Thanks again for listening to Moods of the Moon on Live365!

Happy Holidays!
Kelli =)

MOTM going down shortly for updates!

Greetings! And a big thank you for listening to Moods of the Moon on Live365. I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate you and love that you listen to the same great music that I love and cherish. It has been an absolute pleasure broadcasting! I want to let you know that the station is going to be going down momentarily, in approximately the next 10 minutes, for updates. I apologize greatly for the inconvenience, but I will be updating the format, or bitrate, that this station broadcasts on. This will ensure a better listening quality, especially for VIP Listeners (thank you greatly for your support). This change will require that the entire library be deleted and re-uploaded to match the new bitrate. Therefore, the station will be down for a bit, I would say no more than half-hour, and then be on drastically shortened playlists as I upload the entire library again, plus add new music for your enjoyment. The current playlist is approximately 32 1/2 hours long, consisting of approximately 802 MB. So, please be patient as I get everything uploaded and playing again. Again, I thank you for listening to Moods of the Moon and I wish each and every one of you a very happy holiday season. Moods of the Moon will be back shortly, better than ever!

New Artist Alert!!! Quentin Fielding will be featured on Moods of the Moon starting now! He’s an amazing young performer and composer. His piano based music gives me goosebumps! It’s a pleasure to add this artist to the rotation! Please help me welcome Quentin Fielding to Moods of the Moon!

Quentin Fielding ~ The Ghost Composer
You can visit his website here: http://www.QuentinFielding.com/

Quentin describes his first, purely instrumental, piano album as “a ride through the journey of life.” As one listens to the songs there is a evident exploration of human emotion, inquiry, and reflection. Listening becomes more than just hearing as the mind follows the music to places of the past, present, and future. “Perhaps it is better described,” he soon after corrects “as a journey inside one’s self.”

You can find Quentin’s music at:

Amazon: The Ghost Composer
iTunes: The Ghost Composer

Let me know what you think of Quentin’s Music!
